Lost Dutchman State Park Engagement

From the very beginning, Mel and Filip wanted a cloudy engagement session and it happened to be the perfect season as it was monsoon season in Arizona. We scheduled and rescheduled the session, keeping an eye on the weather weekly. Let me tell you, monsoon season was a bust this year as no cloudy days were in our forecast. When we finally did catch one, we were thrilled and headed out to Lost Dutchman State Park.

These two favorite creators of mine are videographers and I love every chance I get to work with them as I spend the day laughing whenever they are around so I was so excited to finally have the opportunity to photograph them. Just looking through their session you can tell how much these two radiate love for one another, literally the biggest smiles all session. However lets just appreciate how quickly these two can go from laughing to Vogue! Literally killed it.

So we spent the afternoon in the desert, hoping and praying to catch a big lightning bolt behind the Superstition Mountains but apparently we were asking too much from Arizona. It’s cool, still love you AZ. I was happy to have caught at least one cloudy day for these two. So excited for their winter wedding this upcoming January and to create some more magic with these two lovers!
